Kim Builta’s Reasons for Running…
For our Families
Parenting is the most important job any of us can have. I am the proud mother of three and grandmother of two. Raising a family is not easy work, but it has been my most fulfilling role in life. Having a State Representative who will fight for our values and way of life is very important to me.
For our Jobs
Small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy. As a small business owner, I have run a business and created jobs in both good times and bad. As your State Representative, I will work to reduce the burdens placed on small businesses by state government and eliminate the barriers holding back job creation and economic development.
For our Community
As a parent and employer, I understand the challenges facing our community. My life has been a testament of what hard work and determination are capable of achieving. I am ready to meet the task at hand to help foster and promote opportunity for everyone.

Early Vote Event
On Saturday May 1st, a crowd of supporters gathered at the Madison County Courthouse for an Early Vote Rally with Kim.The purpose of the event was to remind everyone about the May 4th Primary and the importance of the general election in November.
At the event, Kim shared with her supporters why she is running. “I am running for jobs, economic development and working families. We need someone in the State House that understands how to pass a balanced budget, how to attract businesses to our area, and in general, understands the challenges facing our community. As a community member who was raised in Anderson and has even raised children in Anderson, I have lived the challenges facing our community and understand how to cope with them. I will bring that knowledge to the State House.”
The event concluded with attendees voting early at the Madison County Courthouse.
